Computers technology has changed for the better in my lifetime. I remember when computers only in houses and not even everybody owned one. Now we have laptops and other computer devices. Some are even small enough to fit in your pocket. For example most smart phones can do the same stuff as personal home computers. Everything has basically become smaller and faster. As for my mothers generation of computers they where hard to come by. Unlike today where there are about 10 computers in the library. During this time you were lucky if the library had 2 or 3 computers.

Joseph Stalin and Totalitarianism

Totalitarianism is like rules and regulations of private and public behavior. Its basically like laws in a state. Joseph Stalin was a Strong believer in Totalitarianism. As you may or may not know Joseph Stalin ruled over the U.S.S.R for many years, 24 to be correct. Stalin rained as their ruler from 1929 to 1953. He was in charge of the U.S.S.R policies darning the beginning of the cold war. On December 21, 1879 he adopted the name Stalin, which means "Man of Steel." To some people Joseph Stalin is known as a great ruler. But to others he is known as one of the most powerful and murderous dictators to ever live. This was because his rain of terror caused over a million deaths in Soviet Union.

Film Lesson: Doctor Zhivago

The movie Doctor Zhivago is about the Russia Revolution. As some may know Russia was in the middle of WWI when there revolution occured. This was the perfect time for there people to have there revolution in many ways. The main reason was because there army was tired of fighting the war. At one point some Russia soilders packed up there stuff and started to sneak home. This is when the Russian Revolution really started to heat up.

Causes of WWI

World War 1 was one of the greatest wars ever. As you may know this war was once called "The Great War." But that changed when WWII came about. WWI started in 1914 and went on through to 1918. As I said before WWI was known one of the greastest wars. This was manly because so many people died. Also because so many different countries came togather and fought each other.
This all started when power started to be exchanged to much in the Entente Powers. This started contrverse between both the Entente and Central Powers. The Entente Powers were the following countries France, Russia, The British Empire, Italy, United States. The Central Powers were the following countries Austro-Hungarian, German, and Ottoman Empire. Even though Russia had there Revolution and had to withdraw from the war, The Entente Powers still crushed the Central Powers.
